Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy outlines the cancellation and refund terms for portrait sessions with TATSUO SUZUKI ("Photographer").


1. Client Cancellations

The following cancellation fees apply after a booking is confirmed:

  • 10 or more days before the session: Free (full refund)

  • 3–6 days before the session: 50% of the session fee

  • 1–2 days before or on the day of the session: 100% of the session fee

  • No-show (failure to appear without notice): 100% of the session fee

Note: Any payment processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Note: The Photographer will process refunds within 5–10 business days. Please note that the time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your card issuer. For details, please contact your credit card company directly.

2. Photographer Cancellations

If the Photographer cancels a session for any reason (illness, equipment failure, etc.), a full refund will be issued. Alternatively, a rescheduled session can be arranged at your preference.

3. Weather Policy

Sessions take place rain or shine. Light rain is not a valid reason for cancellation or refund.

The Photographer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to:

  • Typhoon (active storm warning in effect)

  • Strong winds or severe weather making safe shooting impossible

  • Natural disasters or government-issued restrictions on outdoor activities

Note: In the event of a weather-related cancellation, the Photographer will notify you by the evening before or the morning of the session. A full refund or rescheduling will be offered.

4. Flight Cancellations & Travel Changes

If your session is affected by a flight cancellation or unavoidable travel change, the Photographer will offer a one-time rescheduling upon presentation of supporting documentation (e.g., airline cancellation notice). If rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Late Arrival

If you arrive late, the session will end at the originally scheduled time and cannot be extended. The lost time will not be refunded.

6. How to Cancel or Reschedule

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted by email.
